Seems when I should be reading His Word then I'm feeding my mouth. Or dreaming about the Benjamins, copping the biz in the house. I see I'm like the momma bird babies I feed with my mouth. Get it? I spit it rawer than 99.9.9% of the rappers that's trying to rhyme like mine. The problem is I only spend about .9% of my time writing my rhymes 'cuz I ain't using my time – Constructively – So many cats would love to be in the position that I'm in where all they do is just rhyme. But I like to spend my time on the floor. Maybe it's with Madden 2004 and I ain't tossing it [ ]. Nothin but bathroom, telephone and the door. If it's for me, tell 'em I'm gone to the store. If I don't get it, I advise you to stay out of my way. I gotta take a nap every few hours just like a newborn baby do. If I don't, I can't make it – you might say that I'm crazy, dude. Or I'm just a lazy fool with no drive and no focus. You don't know I went to sleep for 45 when I wrote this. Get a break every few minutes, kid; every 2 sentences. I know God don't like lazy men, I don't have to repent for this. I know my life was meant for this. I'm just too slick with the words and the verbs and the nouns and the subjects and sentences. Maybe I should start from Genesis to see just where I went wrong. Why do it take me 7 days for a song? Or maybe that's how I belong, 'cuz even God rested. I tried to convince myself I didn't need this verse. I like to wait and rehearse my flows that's in the day before I do shows. And I forget the words and I just don't go. I had to hop on the phone and tell my wife to turn the radio on – "lemme hear the 2nd verse of that song." Oh yeah I know that that's wrong! But rocking microphones is where I belong. But if I don't get it together better know I won't be here very long. So I cover up and do like I'm supposed to do. I ask the Lord to make me feel like no thugs would do. I make this song to touch you and the folks close to you. If you relent to what I say then this song's for you. Man I'm so focused, I made myself to sit down and I wrote this. Is it because I know my deadline approaches, or I don't want to be broke? I had to ask myself lately, "am I scared of being blessed, or am I just..." LAZY! God forgive me 'cuz I'm... LAZY!
