There is a place where my heart longs to be, Dans la cité des lumieres, c'est Paris, Ribbons of colour as visions float by, Cobblestone streets in the heat of July, I am near you, Smiling as we walk along the streets of Le Marais, Oh so near you, Dancing as we move into the arms of Le Marais. Taking a stroll along Rue des Rosiers, Perfume of sweet summer flowers fill the air, Victor sits scribbling in some old salon, History beckons, but life lingers on. I am near you, Smiling as we walk along the streets of Le Marais, Oh so near you, Dancing as we move into the arms of Le Marais. (Copyright Liz Madden 2003)
